HaematoSys - Systems biology of haematopoiesis and haematopoietic neoplasia

Motivation:

The aim is to develop new predictive models of haematopoiesis and models for two haematopoietic neoplasias, chronic myeloid leukemia and B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. The models should lead to a better understanding of the principles of tissue organization and to optimized therapy concepts.

In the interdisciplinary consortium HaematoSys partners from leading clinical haematooncological study groups, pathologists, geneticists, cell biologists as well as mathematicians, statisticians and bioinformaticians have joined forces.
